FreightOps

A daily view of shipments, statuses, milestones, and documents, synced read-only from CargoWise, so the operations team stops living inside the ERP.

FreightOps is an operations workspace for freight forwarders. It syncs shipment data from CargoWise through the eAdapter integration in read-only mode and presents shipments, statuses, milestones, and documents in one clean workspace built for daily operations. Shipments that need attention surface as exceptions instead of hiding in ERP reports, and because FreightOps never writes back to CargoWise, there is zero risk to ERP data.

The problem it solves

CargoWise is the industry ERP, and it is powerful, but it is heavy for day-to-day visibility and hard for operations staff who just need to know which shipments need attention today. The usual workaround is exporting spreadsheets by hand, which means stale data and manual work. FreightOps sits between the two: a daily view fed by CargoWise itself, without asking the team to live inside ERP screens.

Who it is for

  • Operations teams at freight forwarders that run on CargoWise and need a daily view of their shipments
  • Operations managers who want shipments that need attention to surface instead of hunting through ERP reports
  • IT and management teams that want to adopt a tool without any risk of corrupting ERP data

What is included

Daily shipment workspace

Shipments, statuses, milestones, and documents in one clean workspace built for daily operations instead of ERP screens.

Read-only CargoWise sync

FreightOps reads shipment data from CargoWise through the eAdapter integration and never writes back, so ERP data stays untouched.

Exceptions that surface

Shipments that need attention show up in the workspace instead of hiding in ERP reports.

No more manual exports

The workspace is fed by the CargoWise sync, so the team works from synced data instead of spreadsheets exported by hand.

Visibility for management

Management sees the state of the operation in the same workspace the team works in, without pulling reports out of the ERP.

How it works

  1. 01FreightOps connects to your CargoWise through the eAdapter integration, in read-only mode
  2. 02We map your operation's flow: which shipments, statuses, and milestones matter to your team
  3. 03The operations team works from the daily shipment board instead of ERP screens
  4. 04Shipments that need attention surface as exceptions instead of hiding in reports
  5. 05Management gets visibility of the operation from the same workspace

Under the hood

FreightOps is web-based, built with Next.js and Firebase on Google Cloud. The CargoWise connection runs through the eAdapter integration in read-only mode. It is built and operated by Cazullo, a Miami software house, and freight forwarding is one of the industries Cazullo works with directly.

FAQ

Can FreightOps change or corrupt data in CargoWise?

No. The eAdapter integration runs in read-only mode: FreightOps reads shipment data and never writes back. CargoWise data stays untouched, which is why IT and management can adopt it without fear of corrupting ERP data.

How is this different from working inside CargoWise or exporting spreadsheets?

CargoWise is powerful, but heavy for day-to-day visibility and hard for operations staff. Spreadsheets exported by hand go stale and cost manual work. FreightOps reads shipment data from CargoWise and presents it in a workspace built for daily operations.

Does FreightOps replace CargoWise?

No. CargoWise remains the ERP and the system of record. FreightOps is a workspace on top of it, giving the operations team a daily view of shipments without living inside ERP screens.

Who builds and operates FreightOps?

FreightOps is built and operated by Cazullo, a software house based in Miami. Freight forwarding is one of the industries Cazullo works with directly.
