An aesthetic clinic doubled the consults that actually happened.

The situation

The ads started plenty of conversations. Few of them turned into a consult, and of the consults booked, many never showed up.

On top of that, one of the main ads had been rejected by the platform, and the front desk had no routine for following up with people who asked about a treatment.

What I found

  • The rejected ad and its landing page made promises that health and beauty ad rules don’t allow.
  • Conversations ended without a clear invitation to book.
  • Booked consults had no reminders, so a lot of them didn’t show.

What I changed

  • The ad and the landing page rewritten without exaggerated promises, and the ad resubmitted for review. The new version was approved.
  • A clear invitation to book in every conversation.
  • A follow-up routine for the front desk, and appointment reminders.

Why it worked

Two separate leaks were fixed at once. The ad rules issue was costing reach, and the missing follow-up was costing visits. Bookings grew by about 60%, but consults held doubled, because reminders turned more of the bookings into real visits.

For clinics, the number to watch is consults held, not messages or even bookings.

Real clients. Names and identifying details are withheld, and numbers are rounded. Ad cost figures are media spend only, without the management fee. Results depend on the market and are not a promise of future results. Work done by Leo Agostini.
